TikTok Shop: 'legible and unaltered' CPC that matches the listing photos

TikTok Shop US asks for a legible, unaltered CPC whose product details match the category and listing photos. Common reasons a submission fails that test.

TikTok's toys page repeatedly asks for legible and unaltered documents. The CPC must support the product being sold and match the product listing, with product details that match the category and listing photos, and a clear description of the tested product.

Common gaps: a blurry scan; a certificate with edited names or dates; a generic description that doesn't identify the listed product; or photos showing a different model or packaging than the CPC describes.

First actions

  1. Submit a clear original PDF, not a photo of a printout.
  2. Never edit an existing certificate. Get a new one issued.
  3. Make sure the CPC description names the same item shown in your listing photos.
