Walmart: incomplete or inaccurate CPC or test report is prohibited

Walmart's Children's Products policy lists providing incomplete, inaccurate or non-compliant certificate or test report information as prohibited, and may automatically unpublish items that miss related policies.

Walmart's policy basics table lists as prohibited: listing a children's product without a valid CPC and corresponding third-party test report; failing to provide or upload them when requested; and providing incomplete, inaccurate or non-compliant certificate or test report information.

The overview also states that products subject to the Children's Products policy must follow other prohibited-product policies, including Baby Products, or Walmart will automatically unpublish the item.

Before you re-upload, check every CPSC element is present and that the report is English, from a CPSC-accepted lab, and covers the rules cited on the CPC.

First actions

  1. Read the Health and Compliance / Item compliance status and reason.
  2. Fix incomplete or inaccurate fields on the CPC (all 7 elements).
  3. Upload the CPC and the matching report together for that item.
  4. If the item was unpublished, check whether Baby Products policy also applies.
