Free CPSC recall & compliance risk check for one product

Type a product name or category. We pull matching recalls from CPSC's public recall database and add a short, rules-based note on which certificate and tests Amazon is likely to ask for.

General information only. Not legal advice, not a testing lab, not certification. CertTrail HQ is not affiliated with CPSC, CBP or Amazon. Recall data: CPSC Recalls API (SaferProducts.gov), queried live. A recall match is about similar products, not a finding about yours.

Next step: check your actual documents

The free CPC/GCC field check compares the identifiers on your listing, certificate and test report and flags what Amazon usually rejects.

FAQ

Where do the recall results come from?

Live from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's public Recalls API on SaferProducts.gov. We search by product name and show the most recent matches with a link to each official CPSC recall notice.

Does no recall mean my product is compliant?

No. A recall search only shows products that were already recalled. Compliance depends on the rules that apply to your product, passing tests where required, and a correct certificate (CPC or GCC).

Is this legal advice or a lab test?

No. It is general information and a rules-of-thumb risk note. CertTrail HQ is not a testing laboratory and does not certify products. Confirm applicable rules with a CPSC-accepted lab or CPSC's Regulatory Robot.

What should I do if similar products were recalled?

Read the hazard on each recall notice and check that your test report covers the cited standard. Recalls in a category often point to the hazards Amazon and CPSC look at closely.
